Our photostability and stability chambers are designed to meet International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines for long-term stability testing in pharmaceutical, medical and cosmetic applications. These applications include clinical trials, drug development and commercialization, medical device testing, cosmetic and personal care product testing and many others. The chambers maintain precise control over temperature and humidity to ensure reliable, accurate test results.
Percival’s IntellusUltra control system adapts to almost any programming style. It includes a port that enables access to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)/Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to customize data recording and tracking to ensure compliance with regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11 or GMP Annex 11.

How Do We Do It? It’s Our Advanced LED Lighting.
1. Combined Spectra: Model RX-3000L features proprietary LED panels that integrate the required visible sunlight (6500K) and ultraviolet (UVA) spectra, allowing the two spectral tests to run concurrently rather than sequentially. Several competing chambers use two separate lighting types, such as fluorescent tubes and UV bulbs.
2. Higher Intensity and Uniformity: With a white-light intensity of 52 klux, our chamber can meet the ICH recommendation of 1.2 Mlux in 23.5 hours. And because the lighting uniformity exceeds that of many competing chambers (better than +/-10% across the entire shelf), our chambers provide more usable shelf space, so more product can be tested per run.
